GroundTherm

I have been working with Groundtherm renewable heating solutions for over a decade at numerous colleges in the North West. The expert guidance and support has proved invaluable to the centres I have worked in and continues to do so.

Upgrading your centre

If you are offering training in Environmental technologies, then Groundtherm renewable heating solutions are the company to assist you in the guidance and support required to develop the layout required to support your students to be able to actually learn, engage, install, diagnose faults and repair and of course plan the installation in the first place.

Andrew Louth is really friendly and approachable and offers fantastic support to centres when devising how to implement the technologies required into your centre.

Qualifications in centres

No matter which Awarding Organisation you are with the team at Groundtherm can assist you, City and Guilds, BPEC or others. I have had the team assist me at two centres and both have been really successful with different AO's covering a range of Environmental Technologies to support apprentices on their chosen pathways or as a standalone course.

Talking to students

As part of the technical qualifications Andrew came into the college to assist in the delivery of the Environmental unit, using his knowledge to outline the possibilities available to students of the BSE trades.

From all this training in-centre to this skill-set on-site

Any centre wishing to add the environmental pathway as part of the Plumbing and heating technician standard   or the brand new Low carbon heating standard contact Groundtherm and discuss what it is you wish to achieve.

All centres that I have had technologies in Groundtherm have installed the technologies and they have supported me in the teaching and learning of new to centre/tutor/student technologies.

This support has led to some 2019 apprentices achieving the environmental pathway and being qualified. There are many routes to go down when choosing the ideal set up for a centre however, I have found the approach with an industry expert installer has worked well for me and the students of the centres where I have been involved.
